New Policies & Procedures for Agencies
Central California Food Bank continues to carefully monitor developments regarding the global spread of COVID-19, and as cases continue to grow in our service area, Central California Food Bank is taking additional precautions to keep our staff, as well as agency personnel and volunteers, safe. Please see the additional precautions we are implementing below:
When receiving a delivery from CCFB, or picking up an agency order onsite, we ask that you please adhere to the CDC recommended guidelines for social distancing and maintain a 6 ft. separation between agency personnel/volunteers and CCFB drivers and CCFB warehouse staff. This is for everyone’s safety.
We are temporarily changing our agency pick-up and delivery confirmation procedure. During this time, we will no longer require an agency signature on CCFB delivery or pick-up paperwork. Instead, agency personnel and CCFB staff will verbally confirm the accuracy of the order, and CCFB staff will ask for the agency representative’s name. That name, as well as “COVID”, will be written confirming receipt of order in lieu of signatures, while the shelter in place order is in effect. Agency representatives/volunteers will still receive a confirmation copy for their records.
No doubt we are navigating very challenging times, and everyone at CCFB appreciates your hard working in meeting the growing need in Central California. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your Agency Relations Coordinator if you have any questions or if you need additional assistance.
