Who are we?
Central California Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief organization in Central California, serving Fresno, Madera, Tulare, Kings, and Kern counties. Through a network of over 260 Member Partner agencies, CCFB distributes nutritious food to more than 320,000 individuals each month, including over 100,000 children. Last year, CCFB distributed over 60 million pounds of food to neighbors in need.
Our History
In 1992, a small group of men and women were dedicated to seeing that hungry people received the food they needed.
Like most non-profits, they started with much passion and energy, but with very limited resources.
Central California Food Bank (previously known as Community Food Bank) started with a temporary facility at the Fresno Fairgrounds and after three moves to warehouses much too small to meet the community’s needs, we rebranded and relocated to our new location on Amendola Dr. in 2018.
We are a proud affiliate of Feeding America, our country’s largest network of food banks serving all 50 states.
